Forester Ultra Microseater interchangeable sleeves FWIW

Quite by accident I discovered you can buy a bullet seating sleeve with a retaining ring from Forester's home site that can be inserted in their microseater as long as bullet diameter is the same as the original die. I seat 223 and 22 BR with same seater, just change the sleeve. This works for 6mm bullets buying one seater and an additional sleeve. Forester's sleeves also fit Whidden's microseater and reverse also. I love my Whidden's but Forester's micrometer hash marks are further apart and make seating a bit more exact.

They will also sell you a seating stem too. If you want to go from a 243 to 308, just get a 308 seating stem and a 308 seating sleeve.
If you do that too much, you will forget where all the extra parts are. Don't ask how I know

I do the same thing with the RCBS Competition Seater. Swap the guts till you get the caliber you're after.;)
I just happen to have a NEW Micro Top seater in PPC from Whidden that I'd like to change calibers on. Something to think about and get taken care of.:)
