As a "standard" reloader since 1983, including .357mag, lead casting and 25-06 Jack rabbit production I am now a re-load-a-phile. Meaning i wont load ammo that is not better than factory loads. I am now concerned about the 0.001 differences and work to make the best ammunition i can. As part of that pursuit i bought a Forster Co-Ax press and a Mitutoyo digital caliper (ebay). The press is wonderful and my old P-7 is now decapping only.
All that said, I was browsing some sites and found a better shell plate for the Forster Co-Ax press. A competent machinist offers for sale a shell holder plate that is significantly stronger than the factory standard one. If you get a stuck case with the forster this shell holder plate will pull it out with no damage that i have seen. It also captures the shell holder jaw springs so you wont have to chase them across the room if you change to the small holders. I promised that if i liked the product i would pass the word ... so here it is, this part is first rate!!
look up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BpFD7NbvL8 for the part.
