For those who need to hit targets at over 2 miles

I read the article. Aluminum barrel? I don't know about that . . .

I am thinking it must have a steel liner in the barrel. I just don't see how aluminum would tolerate more than, oh, one shot. I did notice the muzzle break seems to be canted to reduce the rifles jumping to the right when fired.

That's was a big thing that stuck out to me. If you want to see how that shooting is done; there is a King of 2 Mile series on the pursuit channel

Yep. Even if the aluminum were thick enough to contain the pressure, I'd bet that one shot would turn a .408 CheyTac into a .420 CheyTac.

No, I think the barrel length is right, and the length of the barrel, along with the 7 port muzzle brake, makes it look lighter than it is. this is a behemoth, just as you expect in a 2 mile gun. they lightened it as much as the could, so that it wouldn't take 2 men to carry the rifle case.

Both the 375 Warlord and 375 Lethal Precision cartridges are built on Ed Hubel's 585HE cases. They are using the 416 now. The 375 would drive a 400 grain bullet at 3200fps with a 36" barrel.
You can find this on the Bulletin.
