Nothing earth shattering here. I got annoyed trying to do load development and not getting chrono numbers. Not enough light, wrong angle, planets not aligned, etc. Being a do-it-yourselfer, I got some infrared LED strips and stuck them on the underside of the CED M2 diffusers. Covered the whole thing with black leather to insure there was no other light coming in and had a friend shoot 5 rounds of 9mm through it. Picked up all shots. I know CED sells an infrared kit but I was trying to save money. Only cost me $23.

The other reason for the post was to get rid of that 666 next to my name!

I eliminated all my "light/alignment" issues with my shooting chrony by using the shorter rods/ smaller diffusers. The downside is that I have a smaller window to shoot through... but the results have been very consistent. I may one day step up to a magneto but the shooting chrony is getting the job done.
