for sale: Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm Side Focus Riflescope

I am selling a slightly used Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm Riflescope. This scope has the Duplex reticle and parallax adjustment along with some other bells and whistles I do not use. I mounted the scope in a new rifle, and took it to the range two times for practice and it has been in my closet since. That was over a year ago.Sadlyit comes with no box, no papers, no receipts, just the scope and a sock I keep it in for protection. I will of course ship in a cardboard box with bubble wrap once it sells. It does have witness marks left behind on the main tube by the scope rings that it was mounted in. I linked the amazon website of the scope below with its latest price. When I purchased a few years ago it was $1,100.00. I am asking $800.00, but am open to other offers that are fair or not lowball. The reason I am selling;-this is just way too much scope for me. For me less is better and in a way, more. I know most folks in 2025 want all the bells and whistles, just not me. I am a simple person and I realized this real fast when I started sighting in my rifle with this scope. Now in a perfect world someone would be willing to do a even straight across trade with me for their slightly used Leupold VX-5HD 2-10x42mm Riflescope with duplex reticle (Part # 171386). This is the scope I plan to turn around and buy with the funds I get from selling my Leupold. Same price point, just minus all the bells and whistles. More my speed if you will.
