I have for sale a gloss Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20 x 40 with AO. Has the fine crosshairs with dot reticle, tall capped click elevation adjustment, and standard capped coin slot click windage adjustment. Includes butler creek caps and a gloss Leupold sunshade for AO models. Overall good condition for the body and finish, glass is very good and clean. I have the box for the sunshade, no box for the scope. Scope is a C suffix serial number which indicates 1995 year of manufacture. L

How big is the Dot?

I believe it’s the 1/8 MOA. I called Leupold and provided model information and serial number. The fellow on the phone (Derrick) said according to his spec sheets, all the target dot reticles featured a 1/8 MOA dot. This was at 100 yards on max zoom.

The dot covers an area less than 1/4" on 20x @ roughly 50 yards. At 6.5x @ roughly 50 yards the 1/4" was covered. Hope that helps.

How big is the Dot?

It should be Leupold standard target dot. a little bigger than 1/8" (.125) (,166)
