The LE 6940 is an upgraded version of the Colt 6920. This rifle was shipped by Colt in October 2012. It is in the original box with all the accessories that came with it. The Colt 6940 uses a rock solid one-piece upper monolithic rail/receiver. The barrel is free floating heavy chrome lined 1/7 twist. The front sight is a flip up made by Colt and the rear sight is made by MaTech. Mil-Spec out to 600 yards. The safety is reversible for left hand law enforcement and military personnel. This rifle was shipped by Colt with two 20 round magazine, two quick disconnect sling swivels, a sling, cleaning kit and covers for the 1913 rails, and operating instruction.
