Pull my finger
Hey there.. I stumbled onto this site today and just wanted to introduce myself.. I live in Wyoming and love to shoot and hunt.. I love to reload for my rifles etc and am not happy unless I am messin around trying to find a tighter shooting load. I've been reloading and shooting for 40+ years, I'm 63 years young.. My biggest enemy these days are my eyes.. Anyhow hello and looking forward to learning some new tricks here..

Welcome to the forum. Lots of experience here. I learn something new just about every day. The only trouble is that I'm also over 60 and I think I forget something new every day too!

Zilla,
Welcome to the forum. These are a great bunch of guys here I also learn somthing new each day and look farward to checking replies every day. This isn't like most of the other forums there arn't 4 letter words flying everywhere. You don't get treated like a idiot for asking a question (Unless your really trying too) :)
I hope I am still having this much fun when I am in my 60s & 70s.... Enjoy.
Wayne.

Bozo, you idiot, you may never see 60 if you keep it up the way you have been. There. Do you feel better?
Zilla, the secret to shooting well at our age-I'm older than you- is to keep as little glass between us and the target as possible. If you wear glasses, and your post leads me to believe you do, get Decot Hy-Wyd or a similar product with prescription lenses. The reason I say this is that you should wear a safety lens and they fill the bill. Also, you can go with a tinted lans to improve the lighting condition.
Sorry Bozo; I couldn't resist the opening you gave me.

FBecigneul,
Sorry not needed,as stated that is what I love about this site, just a great bunch of guys and gals. I may just be a pup to you four guys but @ 47 these hills are getting steaper all the time. I brought my cattle off there summer pasture last wed. and thurs. and I am still stiff and sore. And yes I also can't see to shoot without glases >:(
Wayne.

Thanx guys, yes I wear glasses.. This year I adjusted my scopes to be focused while wearing them.. Seems I did better when I focused the scope with out them. I'll look into the Decot Hy-Wyd

Welcome aboard. I lived in Laramie about five years, I sure miss the summers, but don't miss the winters. I sure miss all the prairie dog shootin' around Medicine Bow.

What part of Wyoming are you in?

Absolutely. Only over to rock Springs a few times, usually only went west in the southern part of the state to the Red Desert for antelope and some PD shooting. Used to deer and elk hunt around Mt. Leidy, just west of the Togwotee Pass, but always drove up through the middle of the state and went through Riverton. Beautiful country up there!

Welcome, I was helping a friend hunt antelope near Rock springs in Sept. I love it when I can draw a tag. I have an army friend that lives in Green river.
