FN spr action?

Has anyone built on a FN spr action? in todays market there seems to still be alot of these floating around for what seems like a really good price, i saw a new one with bottom metal and a 20moa base go for 390.00. and was wondering what some of you guys thought about them? and also do any of you know if they are a direct fit to the win 70 stocks? thanks for the help

I HAVE A FACTORY FN SPR WITH THE MCM A5 STOCK. I HAVE OWNED MANY 700 REMINGTON .308 S DOWN THRU THE YEARS AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THE FN WILL SHOOT MORE ACCURATELY CONSISTANTLY THAN EITHER REMINGTON I HAD OWNED. I REALIZE A CUSTOM CHAMBERED BARREL WOULD PROBABLY OUT SHOOT THE FACTORY BARREL BUT IT WOULD ONLY BE MARGINAL. THE FN ACTION WILL FIT IN A MODEL 70 STOCK AND THE TRIGGERS ARE THE SAME AS WELL. THE RIFLE BASIC TRIGGER WORKS REALLY WELL ON MY RIFLE. I HOPE THIS HELPS. BILL

Yes, have built one, put it in a model 70 SA coyote laminated stock, bottom metal had to be inletted. They are the best deal going for an action to build from if you get one w/ the near mnfg. 20 MOA base for under $400...
