Sure thing. Only if you sit around and look competent, we might ask you to chip in and help with something.

Bring a spotting scope and tripod. Usually enough chairs available there.

Ha! BR shooting is way out of my league but I'd love to see a match (and happily help out if I don't get in the way ). It's a bit of schlep from Miami but I will try to make it for a day.

Great news, just spoke with Eric this AM and it looks like they are changing their "outlaw Bench-rest match" schedule to open up that weekend for them to come down to shoot with us. I keep hoping for a great weekend of weather. Thanks Eric and see you the end on Jan. Steve

We have 16 quality benches. In the past we have not had to go to 3 relays, but even though it would make for a longer day, man I would welcome that 33 shooter. At this time no limit on attendance. Getting your entry in nearly will hold a place regardless. Steve

Different from several other state Championships I have attended, the FL state champion will be crowned the best shooter over 2 days, regardless where he resides. So yes, we better step up our game if we want the Champion be from FL. Ga guys are going to be hard to beat, but it can be done Steve

As the interest grows, we are now looking at limiting the entries to 40 to 45. Going past 3 relays in the time limits the sun puts on us this time of year would be a problem. Please get your entries in at your earliest opportunity.

I will keep editing the first post of this thread adding event sponsors as they are confirmed. Many thanks to Seb for his offer this morning.

Also would like to clarify my earlier post about the possibility to limit the number of competitors. It was not meant to light a fire under people, more to the FACT that we have a limited number of benches and holding matches the end of January seriously limits the daylight time available. We have NOT set a limit at this time. I will post here the number of entry forms submitted and number of email, of phone confirmations. I will not tackle that job until the dust settles after Christmas. Need to first update the equipment list from last Saturdays match.
