First time prairy dog hunting

Went prairy dog hunting for the first time and have to say it is one of the most pleasurable ways to spend a fall day I have ever experienced. Brought a 10/22 break down my 12 gauge and an AR in 300 AAC Blackout. I swear the shot I got at one with the blackout that pig tried to catch it like it was a football. He looked like a fat football player watching it go in on him with his arms seeming to reach for the bullet as it hit him at about 900fps. Have to admit that methods are unorthodox but still fun as can possible be.

Never heard them called "pigs" either. Guess you went West, found a good place and spent a day shooting them. Sounds like you had fun.

Now really...the little prairie dog "clapped" at the bullet coming in. Kind of a strange image. You must have found some good stuff.

Actually a friend offered me a room in colorado said I could move in. I did and havn't gone back.
