first target I shot in 11 months

I got tired of my hand going numb last spring and quit shooting,,did a little therapy on my shoulder and doing a little better and decided to have Tim chamber me a new 6PPC bbl for my old Farley and see if I can make it through a match without my hand going numb,,
I did very little break in on the 13.5 twist Krieger and very little load work and just gonna shoot a few practice targets and go shoot a UBR match next Saturday at Buck Creek ,Ky...

THANX AGAIN TIM CLAUNCH,,

this is the first target I shot since last April and I could really feel the rust but in the conditions I had I would take 4 of these next Saturday and not even think about it,,

A little more practice and you should be good to go.haha good shooting

Very nice! Numbness in your hand could be carpal tunnel syndrome if index, middle fingers involved, and if you wake with these digits numb/tingling. Diabetes in yourself or family can be contributing factors. ulnar tunnel syndrome if small finger goes numb. My index tip is numbish and I have carpal tunnel syn in my family, so I'm getting a nerve conduction test and surgery if results are bad...nerve compression left unchecked can result in a degree of permanent damage.

it seems to shoot the same loads the first PPC bbl you did me so I am just gonna go with that ,,I am gonna try and not shoot it much except on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays,

65 Larry,,,,I was holding off too much the first 2 shots ,,this combo seems to hold better in wind than what I was used to before,,

I switched from a HV to a LV barrel and it seems to handle better ,,I think it was a little front heavy before,,

Take LPReddick's advice (Post #5) on finding a cure for that numbness. His advice sure worked for me.

I thought about posting my target from a couple of weeks ago the best I have ever shot @ 500 yds. I have been shooting at 500 for about a year now since the long range opened in my area. Bought a Kelblys rifle they had for sale on their site panda action, Klub stock, 6.5x47 My average @ 500 has been 1.5 in. for 5. I bought a box of Sierra green tipped bullets 130 gr. loaded them with 36.5 gr. Varget touching the lands in my rifle with cci br4 primers. I shot last time up four rds in one hole about 3/4 in. fifth made it one inch total for five rounds. They did a little better than the Bergers I have been shooting or I just had a good five round target. I only get to go once a month drive hundred miles each way in heavy traffic at least coming home. So can't wait to try them again with 37 gr. Varget and some with H4350.

shot a UBR Match today for the first time in a year,,in 30* temps and snowing,,switching winds,,shot a 494 ,,253 at 100 and 241 at 200,, I was a little slow on the trigger at 100 and took me a couple targets at 200 stay out of the 9 and pick up a couple 11`s,,but I was very happy with the 494 ..I think I will do better next month,
