First match with Vortex Golden Eagle 15X60

I shot a 2 day match at 100,300,500 yds. with no sighters. Clicks were right on. Second day bright sun with mirage. I shot at 45x and turned up to 60x yd. to see 500 yd. 6mm holes when many others could not see holes. Image and glass not quite as good as NF Benchrest 12 x 42 but acceptable. I am satisfied at the price point with it. Might purchase a second one.

I'm finding the tracking on mine to be dead on. I've run it from 300 to 800 metres and love it. My second Golden Eagle scope with ECR reticle arrived last week and that will be going on a 6BR-AI before Christmas hopefully. On average I'm running it at 40x magnification.

I had the NF at 42 , the Vortex at 45.The Nightforce had a crisper image. The Vortex focusing is a bit more critical. I really liked the larger knobs with easy to read markings on the Vortex and the increased number of minutes per revolution. The adjustments where spot on with both. I would love to take the best of both and put them into one scope.

Matt, not at this time but I have and I like the Benchrest better at the same power. I have the Vortex on one gun and the 12 x42 Benchrest on my second gun so that is my reason to compare those two.
