First five shots

I bore sighted the new 30 Bellm, these are the first shots 3x9 Leupold set at 3. Rifle is a 6 digit serial number Remington 700 that started life as a varmint special 22-250 I re barreled it several times, the last was a 50 cal smokeless powder that I shot 45 cal saboted 290 gr cast bullets and it was my deer rifle for years. This new barrel I think may stay I really like this 30 Bellm.

You and I have a lot in common…beat up, hard used hunting rifles, old Leopold scopes, and hand drawn targets…I like it!

I'm shooting Barnes 125gr this year. The barrel is a low round count off a Palma rifle that the guy decided to change caliber I was told it's a Krieger with 400 rounds max

I love that old BDL stock I filled the hole in the forearm with foam and covered the foam with marine tex with a layer of glass cloth. It's a single shot so the mag box area has a block of micarta glued in with marine tex. The only thing left of the original rifle is the action base and rings then the scope. I've killed more with this rifle in all its forms for 45 years

I keep thinking I'll put pillers in it but it just kills well for me so I leave it alone it is bedded just no pillars
