RJ,
Thanks for the complement. You called me young. HEE..HEE.. I've been in Uncle Sam's Canoe Club for 18 years now. I'm far from young but thank you anyway. I love the Navy and could not think of doing any other job, so it is my pleasure to serve. What part of Texas you from? My house and family are in Corpus Christi. I'm stationed in Everett WA but will do most of my hunting in Texas.
I'm looking at a Remington Varmint contour. Which finishes at .830 and is very close to the Med. Palma. As I continue to learn and piece together my rig, I think I'll be happy with a finish weight between 11 and 14 pounds ideally. If I'm closer to 16 then heck I'll have to build a bench. I'm not sure if I'm having more fun building it or shooting it. Next comes the reloading questions.
