First Breach ammunition and reloading components

Recent copy of American Rifleman included an article about First Breach from Maryland...a new ammunition and component manufacturer. They are currently selling 9mm and 556/223 components and loaded ammo, including primed cases, and will soon be selling their own primers. Primed cases ship without haz-mat fees. Prices seem very reasonable. I am interested in knowing more about the difference between their 9mm cases and their 9mm +P cases for $1 more per bag of 100. No Youtube videos yet with ammo tests, reviews, or discussions. https://firstbreach.com/shop/

Yup! I’ve read a couple bad reviews about them, too. I would buy only a small batch and check them out carefully. The stories I read are a year old so maybe they have their quality control working by now.
It’s great to see a new supplier in America, if they can produce a quality product.

I think +P cases are a little thicker in the web for higher pressure (less chance of blowout.) Not necessary with standard loads, and may cause other problems if you manage to bulge the base (they'd be harder to size at the lower parts of the case.)

The no-hazmat on primed cases is normal. Primers become magically benign when inserted into brass (yes, that's facetious. It's the separation between primers that allows normal shipping designation, I think.)

Yeah. But, did you see the article in American Rifleman? They really hyped the place.
It’s called an “Advetorial”…. A paid for splash by the company that is having their product reviewed…
It’s how to get revenue in without alerting the readers that it is just another paid several pages by giving them something that is interesting to read but just bear in mind that the glowing review has been paid for… Not likely to see much negative opinion..

Exactly! I can’t remember ever seeing them print a negative review.
