First 6br

I just recently built my first 6mmbr and I am very happy with it to say the least. I shoot a pretty good group for me at least I was wondering if one of you guys that have the program that meassures group size could run it with this group. Its not the best group but it is a good group for me. thanks Davey

the specs are
RL-15 30gr
105gr hornady Amax
average oal is 2.3049
Remington primed brass neck sized and deburred and cham.
Shilen 6mmbr norma 26' bull bbl
Savage 12 action
trigger worked by me.

You are going to enjoy your BR...It will surprise you as to how easy it is to find loads and bullets that shoot well. Being without a BR would be like being half-dressed.

That is a good group and if it shoots that combination consistantly, then you are good to go.

thanks that was the second round of testing with it everything is the same except I was testing seating depth and I think I found a good jump at .015. I only have 25 rounds down the tube so far I am happy I found a good combo right off the bat. but I have heard that you could probably put a sunflower seed in there on top of some black gold and light it with a little piece of flint and still get amazing results!LOL!

Glad you are having great results right off the bat. You might chron that load and see how fast it's running. Some guys are able to run a little more RL15 and get close to 2900... but every barrel's different.

I'm real pleased the accuracy came quickly for you. This is one reason I started the web site 4 years ago... so guys could enjoy the 'fast path to 1/4 moa accuracy.'
