firing pin diameterand clearance for br?

When using a factory action for a 6br or dasher what diameter should the firing pin be and how much clearance on the hole is acceptable? I have a couple tikka actions under consideration, one is a 22-250 m595 and the other is a t3 243.

A .062 diameter firing pin is about right for a BR rifle, and can be a bit larger for hunting purposes. The clearance shouldn't be much more than .004 if you keep it clean...
Bushing the pin hole and fitting a pin to match is a good thing....

I agree with Preacher! A great source to have your firing pin bushed and shaved to .062 is Greg at Gre-Tan Rifles.
Turn around time is about a week. His work is great! Here is the link to his web site. http://www.gretanrifles.com/
