Hundred.......... ;D
I've never ran my 308 past 600 so I thought now's as good a time as any. 80 some degrees, light (for July) humidity, and almost zero wind, prompted long range play time late yesterday afternoon.
I set the target up at 300, and dialed in 3 1/2 MOA, from a 100 yard zero, to confirm, and to foul the bore. Last four went into 3/4".
Moved the target back to 1000 yards, dialed in 30 3/4 MOA, and ripped off 5. Dead center for elevation, but strung out 9" horizontally.
Moved the target back to 1200, dialed in 43 3/4 MOA, and banged off another 5, holding zero wind again.
Lapua brass, H-4895, 155 moly plated Scenars at 2930 FPS seems to show some potential. ;D
