Fireforming 6mmAR from 220 Russian

Just out of simple, plain curiosity, does anyone know if I can fireform 220 russian into 6mmAR? I cant see a reason why I couldnt considering that the 6mmAR is essentially a long bodied 6PPC.

Grendel brass is easier.

You can do it but the end result will be a 6mmAR case that is about .030" short of a normal 6mmAR case made from Grendel brass (i.e. the cases will typically wind up around 1.485" long vs 1.515" long with Grendel brass).

Got it, I was just curious. I know grendel brass is as easy as it gets.
