fire forming dasher

So I have a 6mm Dasher reamed for Norma .050 longer necks. Im getting close to wearing it out and i have in my possession a new barrel and a new reamer coming soon for regular Dasher. I also have 300 Lapua BR new brass to fire form. Im wondering if I could use my old barrel to do the fire forming thus not wearing wearing out my new barrel. Any thoughts on this?

If it was reamed specifically for Norma Dasher brass the chamber might be slightly tight at the back end. You may or may not end up with a bolt click when you open it. But heck yea give it a try, more than likely it'll be fine.
