fire form 6ppc

HI

I was told I could fire form my 6ppc new cases by using a expander ball then turn to .262 for my .264 neck size then load and shoot to form the case.

I don't have a extra bar ell to fire form with so what do you guys think?

What am I missing? Anything?

Well, you don't have to have an extra barrel. You can fireform with your existing barrel. As you stated go ahead and run the brass thru your F/L 6PPC die, turn the necks to your numbers, load and shoot. Then your brass will be ready to begin load development. By all means, shoot the target while blowing out your brass. You might be surprised at the groups with a 6PPC.
