I found the fiocchi shotshells to be the same wayIt's good stuff. My 12 twist Rock creek ar barrel loves it. Less than 40 cents a round delivered, I can't buy bullets, powder, primers, brass and time cheaper for varmint shooting.
I found the fiocchi shotshells to be the same way
I was only using hunting ammo---never shot the light stuff--that would be bad at a competition!I had the opposite experience with their shotshells. Was at a sporting clays course and bought a few boxes of Fiocchi ammo from the proprietor. Neither I nor my buddy could get them to chamber. The brass seemed like it wasn’t sized correctly. Maybe it was just a bad batch but it spooked me against buying their stuff again.
Very true. I've also had good luck with the federal AE 50s and the outback 55s. I'm pretty lucky, my 100yd zero is the same for all three. I don't think I've ever had a rifle before that did that with three different brands and one With a different weight.American Eagle 223, 50g Tipped Varmint uses the V-max also and is extremely accurate out of both my 223's. I'll have to try the Fiocchi also and see how they compare. The AE has produced many 3 shot slightly ragged holes at 100 yds so it'll be quite a challenge.
The ADI Outback in 69 SMK is also very accurate and quite lethal. Took a 160 lb bore last year with one shot to the ribs. Made hamburger out of his shoulder and shattered a rib before taking out his lungs. Quick end.
