Finished My Winter Project Early

My first gun with a tuner. I’m losing my hair already and this might just send it the rest of the way to desertion but I wanted to try one.

This is my 5th using the same reamer. So far all of them have exceeded my expectations.

The reamer was made on my wife’s birthday so I think it’s a little extra good luck charm.

I don’t get to work on my own stuff very often and I’ve been tinkering with it a little here and there when I had some extra time. It’s been ready all but chambering it for a couple of weeks. I had a few hours of “extra time” today so I shut down the phone and went to work.

It’s a SEB MAX Rest. Only thing I made on the rest is the quick load round holder.
It’s made from UHMW and I used a reamer chamber reamer to essentially mimic a chamber so the loaded rounds would set in place perfectly. I also had to make the aluminum adapters to go from the rest to microphone arm to the round holder. The first ones we made mimicked a revolver cylinder but they were too bulky to get 20 rounds in them. These are much smaller and work great. I’ll post some pics of it in a little while
