Finished another stock

I recently finished building another stock, this one for my Impact 6mm creedmoor. I don't post much here but enjoy seeing the projects other guys have done. So I though Id show this one.

Yes, I shaped everything on the outside by hand. I use a router on rails system that I rigged up to do the inletting.

The rifle shoots awesome. I don't have any picture of groups but it usually is around 1/2"

This is actually the second stock I've built for this rifle. I wanted to try building one with an aluminum bedding block and compare the results to the first stock I made that is traditionally bedded in marine tex. So far its been comparable as far as group size. I think I prefer a traditionally bedded stock myself.

Outstanding job, I wish I had woodworking capabilites.
Do you have any inkling to do any in hardwoods?

Ill do one out of walnut one of these days. everything I've done so far has been out of laminate just because you can get the laminate blank pretty easy and I haven't taken the time to look for a walnut blank that's not super expensive.

I'm working on another laminate right now for a tikka T1X, its turning out nice, this ones got more of a modern vertical grip shape.
