Finding Winchester Brass

I have been unable to find any new Winchester brass for my 308. This is my first year reloading and I am just curious whether this is normal or are there certain times when they release brass throughout the year.

I used ocw to work up a nice load with varget and 168 amaxes, so I hate to start over with another brand of brass. But I am wondering if I should I bite the bullet and buy something like Lapua.

Of course, if anyone knows of any good source for winchester brass, that would be great too!

Probably the worst time ever to try and find almost any certain reloading component. Hang in there, we are all in the same boat. If you can find Lapua, it is quality brass. Almost everyone I know has had to switch around their recipes lately due to availability. Keep good records and you can always go back to it when things become more available.

Not so, while everyone was talking about 'it' I was doing it as in getting serious about relading, for those expensive cases I chose to purchase expensive forming dies, as a trade off I did not pay much for the cases to be formed. I paid .01cent to 07 cents for new 30/06 surplus pull down 30/06 brass.
