***FIND A PLACE TO SHOOT...my new website***

Well it seems like there are LOTS of post asking if there is a range or place to shoot near "X".

So about a year ago I started working on a database and website so folks could find shooting ranges near where they live.

The site is up and running and seems to be working ok for now. It still has a ways to go and I have some more ideas for it. But for now it is what it is. Feel free to use it and pass it along.

**PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THE FORUM** That still need some work and is a ways off.

Next you ought to consider adding a sort function so we can find member-only vs. public, indoor vs. outdoor, rifle vs. shotgun only, etc.

Maybe a "comments" area where we can post reviews after a personal visit?

Everything has to start somewhere; what I saw is a good start!

Pretty good. Was checking it out for locations here in South Florida around Tampa. You have it covered.

Think it said McDill AFB range was about 10 miles from my house here in Ruskin. Same thing with a range in St. Petersburg. Probably right. It's just that, unless you go by boat, you can't get there from here.

Think the distances are, "as the crow flies". Maybe I shot that crow?
