Finally won a club match

It was kinda breezy from 10-20mph switch y winds. I was finally able to overtake my good friend Herb. We were a little short on competitors today. Some shoot scope as well as aperture sights.
Well the results didn't print.

I guess you have never shot at Whitehorse then. We are usally happy if the wind stays under 10mph and it only blows in one or two different directions. It makes you a better shooter being able to work in that stuff.

For some reason, in Rimfire the wind kicks my butt. In center fire, it just doesn't bother me much.

I think the wind was my friend. I've shot with flags for too many years to remember. My buddy was using some of my flags and one of my Begg's wind probe. Herb is new to this game, but wins most of the time. He knows and practices 2-3 times a week is what it takes. I have another bud that I'm working with. He will probably get my rifle when my new one is done next year. We are putting together a CZ457 for his wife. We will try to get a Bscar trigger for it. Don Stith is helping with a stock blank. I will inlet and bed it and send it back to Don to make a 457 pattern for his customers. Don is a great guy.
