Filter for Shooting

Does anyone know of a filter - for a scope that would help when shooting on a south facing range? The scope picture is washed out and almost cant see the bullet holes at 100 yards. I have the sun shade and march scope reducer on as well.

Jerry,

I find that a long billed cap helps a lot. The issue is to make sure the area between your eye and the scope eyepiece is shaded by the bill of the cap.

My range faces east, and I usually shoot very early in the morning. I couldn't see the target until I got the long billed cap

Just a thought I use screw in camera lens filters on my scopes.
haze filters ( skylight ) I even have a polarizing filter. I’m thinking that might help with your glare problem. Although it may darken it a little. Visit local camera shop or determine correct size ( size of lens isn’t the size of filter thread ) and order from Amazon

Works for me ,also helps to protect the lens of your scope.
