Feeler guages

Would like to buy a feeler gauge but, have no idea what I'm looking for( as far as quality). Looked around and I found them from less than $10 to over $80. Help! It would be just for use around the reloading bench.

Just buy a cheap set if all you're looking to do is repeat set ups on dies and such, they will be far more accurate than you need them to be.

I bought these from a favorite of woodworking toy stores, 20 blades, ½” wide by 5 ½” long, .001” to .025”, says accurate to .00025”, polished tempered steel, and all for a measly $22.50, plus shipping. Other sets will have shorter blades, a pain when stacking two or more blades not located near one another in the stack, and the smallest blade here is .001” where most other sets begin at .0015”. If’n length don’t matter and you’re fine with ‘em starting at .0015”, then it’s likely you’ll spend less for a lesser set of gauges, elsewhere.
