What is it I am missing? Bids 4-5 dollars and more per round ammo. Large lots of "pulled" bullets, bids 1.50+/ bullet. But one of the few items designated unavailable on the Federal website. I have never really like Federal brass for reloading, especially the nickel plated brass. Why the high interest in this bullet, does Federal make this bullet, or did they acquire the manufacturer of the Acsent?

Great question. Their marketing reads well. I’ve looked for them off and on for a couple years. I’ll have to see a lot of real world evidence of their performance to pay those prices. No way for pulled bullets.

Yes Federal makes Ascent just like the TLR and others. Really like the 200gr with H4831 in my 300 Win Mag.

Gun fair on Friday, saw the terminal ascent in 308,7mm,300wm ammo.
About 50.00 a box. Much cheaper than auction prices, no one I saw was buying the premium level ammo. Fusion,Core lotk ammo was headed to check outs. Along with Federal factory second ammo, there was a lot of 2nds.

I have shot the 155 bullets in reloads in my 28 nosler. Love the bullets. Was doing testing in packs of newspaper and found the bullet to retain 75% of its weight with a very good sized and held together mushroom. Supposedly they are coming out with 175 grain in .284. That will likely become my go to bullet.
