i know from searching around on the world wide interweb that both these primers are often hard to find, but other than “around $5 per thousand”, have you seen any differences in how your loads shoot with these?

The 215 series primers are large rifle magnum primers.
The 215 is a standard large rifle magnum primer.
The GM215M is a large rifle magnum match primer.
Federal doesn't make a 215M, only a 215 and a GM215M.

The difference between a 215 and a GM215M is that the match primer (GM215M) is sorted for uniformity. It does produce slightly better velocity SD values for most people.

Thanks, good info and I edited the thread title to reflect the product name information you provided.
