federal 205M for 6br

Can anyone find the primers for sale some place?? There must be a black hole somewhere containing the Fed 205M's....

Tried them with my first 6BR. CCI 450Ms gave me better numbers with 107s/Varget and they grouped the same at 100 so I never looked back.

You loads yer loads and takes yer chances = universal truth. Kinda the fun part.

205M do match well with Varget, maybe not so much with RL15. I saw where CCI400 were being used a lot by Montanas top shooters with H4895.

Until about 2 mos ago, Fed 205M's were available. All of a sudden, they are not. My 6BR and the Dasher prefer CCI 450's.

The 205GM are all I use in 6BR and 6BRX

I have a ton of them, but they seem soft when using in the 6BRX. Went CCI 450s and get great ES and SDs. They work well for me. Russian/Tula also work well. Nice hard cups, and consistent. Caviat, Russians are more than 10 years old.

I like the BR4 because they are thicker cups. I don't want to losè my agg because I blanked a primer. Matt

CCI BR4's shoot better in my Savage Model 12 Target 6mmbr than do the Federal 205's. Used to use the 205's but switched after extensive testing and comparison.

Here's an example of the 205m used in my 6 BR today out to 600 yards. Bullet used is my own testing them at 104 grains instead of 105
