I loaded up some more hot loads for tomorrow, all using manufacturer load data but I still worry sometimes. Especially if I make a mistake. But this evening I was thinking, I've experience over pressure with Cor-Bon ammo. A 125g 357 Sig got stuck in my Glock 33 so hard that the ejector ripped a piece off the brass and I had to tap it out of the barrel. Then a Cor-Bon 115g 357 Sig got stuck in my Sig P239, when I tapped it out I saw that the primer was blown out and the base of the case was bulged and deformed, that round did 1420fps 1509.4fps. In both cases the guns weren't damaged, but I sure don't want to do that again.
I've never had any of my hot loads do anything like this. Have you ever pushed the envelope hard enough to see something like this?
