Fast twist 223 barrel life

My cheap Axis barrel was just replaced. It had over 6000 rounds on it and still shot 1/2MOA at 200yd. At 600 it was 3/4. Most of that is due to me since I have a hard time shooting less than 1/2MOA with anything. And, yes, that factory barrel bore looked horrible and was a copper mine. But, it shot well and the POI from cold to way too hot was about 1/2MOA.
Most of my shooting was not quite max loads with 77gn SMK and 73gn Bergers or Hornady ELD's. A ton of Varget, a couple thousand with N540.
