i have 2 different farrel bases, one for a rem and one for a savage and they differ in the recoil lug slots for rings. one is .180 and the other is .190! i take it one is for weaver style rings and one for picatinny!? i tried to fit a tps ring set on one and it wont fit in the slots? anyone find this? they are suppose to fit either!

You are right, one is Weaver, the other Picatinny. The Weavers will fit a Pic but not vice-a-versa
