This rest has been used very little and operates flawlessly. The base is made of steel and stainless steel and has just a 12" footprint between the feet so works good on a narrow bench. Weight is 16lb 9oz. The design is such the large threaded center stud screws into the lower base so to elevate or lower you loosen the thumb screw and rotate up or down. The locking leg feet have a lot of elevation travel as well and included is large pads to go under the feet. The bag is a 3" Edgewood. Farley sold this rest top without a base and the bag and bag holder was very insufficient IMO and I never used it. I still have it and can include it if buyer desires. I have a tendency to over engineer things to make them bullet proof as you can tell from this rest. $450 shipped (eastern USA)
