farley actions

i was on the farley site and saw they now have a new action. have not seen on yet, has anyone used one for a build?
i have a 30 barrel that is chambered for 30br. looking a different actions, for a biuld with this barrel. just wondering the thoughts on the actions.

Farley makes a great action. They are used by many top BR shooters. They share the same thread as a Remington, so used barrels are easily fitted to Remingtons.

There is this one thing called 'Farley Time'. This seems to vary greatly. What one person perceives as 3 weeks translates into 6 months+ in Farley Time.

One thing to remember in today's world of CNC machinery, Jim has very little CNC machinery and does most of his work on manual machinery. Manual machinery doesn't crank out parts as fast as CNC.

I've built a few rifles on his Black Widow action and they seem to be working pretty well. He has gone back to an investment cast receiver which to most shooters who have used them in the past is a good thing. He has also gone back to a Remington style cocking piece because of problems with his new style. If he has a problem with his actions, he will take care of it. As Wayne said, delivery time can and probably will be longer than what he hopes it will be.
