Farely Coxial Rest and Cooper .204

I have a new Farley Coxial rest I got for a 6 PPC BR rifle. Anyone have any ideas or experience on how to get a Cooper .204 Montana Varminter rifle (http://www.cooperfirearms.com/rifles.php?rifle_name=mtv&cal=204-R) to work on the front rest. It's not wide enough to fit like the BR rifle, even with side adjustments all the way in. Any suggestions would be appreciated ;D

If you go to Sinclair they have a Edgwood 2 1/4" leather reinforced front bag for a Farley Rest. That is the one I am getting for my hunter class gun this should fit that stock measure it.

I took a soft leather strap and folded it over a one time and sewed it together. I put that on the rest and push my narrow stocked rifles down into the 3 inch wide Protector front bag that I use. The leather strap takes up the slack and creates a fairly tight fit. It holds it steady and still allows the gun to recoil back without binding. It isn't the best solution, but it works pretty good. Sinclair makes an gizmo that attaches to the stock that fits a 3 inch bag perfectly if you are okay with it hanging on your stock.

Several companies sell adaptors that fit on the forend and have a flat plate on the bottom so they ride the bags better. I have one that I made that simply clamps to my forend with 4 screws with plastic tips. It is an aluminum channel big enough for my forend to fit in and is 4 inches long, has 2 screws in either sides and a 3"x6" piece of 3/8" nylon attached to the bottom. It improved my hunting rifle in the bags immensely. It is far better than a rounded forend in the bags.

Gun of the week 21 also has the EGW bagrider on it, and though it is designed for an AR-15 it could be easily adapted to another rifle.

Hart also makes the accuracy asset as well.

Thanks for all the advice. The Cooper stock is around 2" wide and does not have any drilled holes in it (nor would I want to drill any in it!) Does any forend adaptor work on a forend without something to screw into?

The one I made clamps on, and I am pretty sure I have seen something similar, I just can't seem to find it now.
I use some leather strips between my stock and my bag rider so it doesn't mar my stock, so far so good.
