Factory Primed Brass

I purchase a new case of 308 win factory primed brass.


I FL sizing all of them and following with chamfer & deburr.



Do anyone have an experienced on tumbling primed brass before loading?

I wonder that the residue of corncob will affect the ignition of primer?

No, I never tumbled primed cases with corn cob media. Would not the tiny kernals get stuck in the primer?

I know when tumbling fired cases with corn cob media almost every case has the primer filled with a kernal & I must first knock it out to get a clean center hit with the de-priming punch.

Not something I ever intend to try with live primers.
