F-Class-Windage Top

Well I sat around all last night and have come to the conclusion that the only thing that stands between me and greatness in F-Class is a new rest.

I have pretty much decided on a cast iron Bald Eagle Slingshot. What do you think of this choice?

Whose windage top would you buy?

Do I need the extra weight of cast iron?

Jerry,
Thanks for the pic. I don't think have ever seen one before.

The windage control rod coming straight out the top, does your rifle get in the way when you need to make adjustments?

What is it about the Farley that will propel me into Super Greatness. I tried their website,no prices, not much information really.
Jerry do you shoot F-Class with your Farley.
That is one beautiful rest.

Mr. Chuck, no rest will make you great. Some just make it easier for you. My rest top will be out next month and will fit on a Hart, Bald Eagle, Sinclair, or others with the 3/4" threaded post. It is a coxial like the Farley, but much cheaper at $350.

Chuck,
Control rod is below the rifle.
The control rod is for both elevation and windage, big advantage for F class to be able to hold off very quickly . Also handy to take a quick peak at other targets and being able to checking the
target number board just by moving the control rod.
I've used the rest in the four or five bench rest matches. My wife has won many F class matches using the rest.

Outlawsix I haven't learned how to post pictures yet. We should have our website up real soon and will advertise on the forum. Send me an e-mail address and I will try to send you a photo. We are taking deposits as of next week. $50 will hold one. They are in the CNC shop now. My e-mail is papawlambert@starband.net.
Thanks Butch

Chuck, the pic. is on the way to you. I should have some larger ones in a day or two. The rests are at the plater.
Butch

Thanks, I sent one to the mailbox about an hour ago. I think that Paul will get it. If he can't post it send me an e-mail address to papawlambert@starband.net.
Thanks a lot
Butch

Thanks a lot Jason. This is a prototype. Actually the only change that we made to the production model was a smaller shifter ball. We wanted to make sure it didn't hit the bottom of a real low profile rifle.

Hi Butch,

Looks like a great idea to me. Question: What is the max rifle weight that you rate them at? I know guys have seen problems with other windage tops once they get past about 17 pounds or so.

I guess now you'll be "The Rest Top Man" instead of "The Barrel Man"? Or maybe you can just shorten it to "The Top Man" and start wearing "Hooters" T shirts to the matches? LOL!
