August 1st is our next monthly match. The public is always welcome to all matches at the St.Louis club. All shooting will be @ 600yrds with pits and covered firing line.


Sign up is from 7-8:30 am, match starts at 9:00
30 shots for score 2x15 with 2 sighters each relay.
Sight in period on steel starts at 8:30
Entry fee $20 and includes Lunch after the match.

Our matches have 4 classes F-Open, FT/R, bench Open & bench T/R
First place medals awarded to each class.

Neil is one of our toughest competitors and a awesome guy to be around. On his business cards it says OFF on Thursday!! Now that is a dedicated shooter!!! He is the man to beat in bench open.

Out for revenge??? You have beaten me 3 out of 5 matches this year. I think I am the one that needs revenge. You are one tough competitor when you put powder in all your cases. Lol

There is a first time for everything! I learned not to load last minute for the match at 11:00 at night from that one....Not going to do that again!

Hey Pete, the match is this Thursday!!! Load up the ammo. Lol

We have a unreliable forecast for excellent weather especially for this time of year. They have changed the wind direction twice a day also so I can't tell what the heck to expect. It will be a great day to shoot I can promise that!!! That and Pete is going down.

You got your ammo loaded already? The match would be a great time to do load testing!!! We haven't had a rain out in the last 4 years, I think God is watching over us. Mid 80's and sunny, NNW 9mph. Let's shoot.

OK, OK, Pete sent me some pictures of a couple lucky groups he had last night. I don't think he can repeat it in the match tomorrow and I have a dollar that says he will only take 2nd place if his luck holds out.

It's just one of them things that happens once in awhile. I have ran out of time and got behind several times in the past. I know you lost a couple days with the rash and the doctor visits but it was important to get that looked at. Lol. It's hard to resist something younger and prettier but now you know not to sleep with a new gun until the stock dries. Hopefully you don't get a rash every time you shoot it.
We are meeting at the range at 5:00 pm this evening to setup everything. Any help would be appreciated.

8:30. Man those flags were straight out setting up, gonna be a tough head wind tomorrow!!

Exciting day of shooting with 38 shooters today! We had a first time winner in F-Open Joe Meyer with a excellent 299-15x. Paul Siracusa refused to lose with a outstanding FTR score of 298-16x.(New club Record ) Congratulations guys to some fine shooting in a switching head wind. Match Director Brett Mitchell will get a full report up soon.

It was a great day for some shooting and an amazing turn out for a Thursday match. I have attached match results.

Our next match and final weekday F-Class match will be Sept. 5th. I hope to see everyone out there.

It looks like there is a problem with the scores. Paul shot a 298-16X and Rabun wasn't there yesterday.
