Ben, nothing wrong with a repeater, but I am sure you know since FC is a slow fire match you can only have 1 round in the rifle at a time. More than one is a no,no! NRA rule 10.1.6

If reliable and smooth operation in rapid fire are important, Winchester 70 controlled feed actions are hard to beat.

You have enough time between shots to polish the next round and clean the one you pull out plus you cant use the magazine. Cant see why youd use a less stiff action for no reason

Looking to build a 1st Class F Class repeater rifle. What components would you use?
Ben
Sorry, I have nothing to contribute on the build.
I am curious as to why you want it.
Maybe I want one, too. ;)

I have a 26" AR upper. That's a f-class repeatin' SOB on a Sinclair bipod!

There is a “fun” class of rifle that I don’t believe reports to the nra but is popping up at local events call field precision rifle. Muzzle devices are allowed and it must be fired from a bipod and fed from a magazine.

My club and it's not hoighty or toighty (Sr mbrship = $45, Sr Family $75 and $100-$125) has electronic tgts. The time delay programmed into the system iirc 6-7 seconds. I've worked the pits, usually 2 shooters per tgt and 10 seconds is a major bobble. Yes, they have 20 mins for twenty shots but they will run as fast as possible at times. No brass polishing here.

I dont know if you canabilize old builds for new, but its much harder to turn a single shot action into a repeater than it is to not use the mag.
