F class rear bag

trying to get into this and I have noticed that my rear bag is way too short for prone shooting, what is the height people are using for this?

There is no standard answer to this question. Try some different one at a match and figure out what works for you.

I have 3 rear bags of varying heights, from 1/2 to 1" at their respective bases. I also have 2 spacers, one is 1/2" high the other is 1" high.. I have not found that I needed MORE than what I have on any given shooting berm.

High Caleb, this may be good. Try attaching it to a 1" steel plate for a really stable bag.

Also it depends on your front rest. On a rest like a SEB NEO, which has over 6" of gross vertical adjustment and can go real low, it's less important.

I think your looking more for the rear bag height that fits your comfort zone. Occasionally you lay waiting for a condition and too low or high is painful if it's a forced position. I recently waited 25 min in a block time before firing a shot. This is something you will have to find.
