F-Class legs and feet on JJ rest

i have a JJ rest with 1/2 20 threads, who makes the longer f-class legs for this rest?

How do f-class shooters work around a speed screw? Do you use it or replace it with an f-class leg also?

I'm new to this game and trying to use the gear I have.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Sinclair rests have the 1/2x20 so you can use those for the fronts and make one for the back maybe that slips over the point
You are correct Dusty, they do sell the feet and I bought a set, by the time you screw them on the legs there is no adjustment left at all. Sinclair does sell legs however what they sell is the stock length, they do not sell the longer legs needed for f-class.
As for the speed screw conundrum, surely I'm not the first to address this.....just hoping folks are willing to share their fix on this.
I think if this doesn't pan out I will make a bushing out of a short bolt with the same threads as the speed screw by drilling and tapping the center 1/2 20 for use in f-class matches. Thoughts?

DSC02328.JPG get some 1/2 x 20 all thread and make your own. I used a sinclair 3/8 x 16 speed screw (had one) drilled and tapped the 1/2 x 20 also had to make a new pin for it. i did check with a local machine shop about making a whole new speed screw but they said the adjusting knob was a double start thread and would be expencive to make.

Thanks Ron, exactly the sort of engineering ideas I'm looking for.

Your welcome. the adapter for the speed screw is 3 1/2" long. It has worked on all the fireing lines i set up on so far. Two things to watchout for are that you don't get the speed screw to high that it's to close to the stock when the top is in it's lowest position and when you tap the threads in the adapter you don't swell the outside threads.
