Eyepiece for Celestron Ultima 80mm

I bought this spotting scope a number of years ago and would like to use it for monitoring Mirage.
Any one know of a 20-30 power LER eyepiece for this scope?

Check with an astronomy site. You can put an eyepiece for tracking stars in it and use that for mirage - I'm thinking of doing the same thing. They use a normal 1 1/4 inch eyepiece that is readily available. Try Astronomics or Adorama or B&H.

I am pretty sure that this will work for you, but check just to make sure.

I went ahead and called Celestron and they said there is no eyepiece that will fit the Ultima. The standard Celestron has a 1 1/4" eyepiece and the Ultima has a 41mm screw on eyepiece. I am not sure that the guy just meant Celectron didn't offer a eyepiece for the Ultima or that the screw mount is non-standard and both the threading as well as the geometry didn't match other eyepieces.
I have heard the Baeder eyepieces fit, but I am not going to gamble that kind of money on a guess!

Thanks guys.

I contacted Baader and found two options.

First, the Baader Hiperion zoom will adapt to the Celestron Ultima 80mm.

Second, obtain an adapter from Baader # 2958500A and one of the Baader Classic Ortho eyepieces. This combo will work. You just unscrew the 1.25" sleeve from the eyepiece and screw on the adapter and screw it on the Celestron where the original zoom eyepiece attached.
