This rifle shoots like a hammer and looks even better!! These stocks that terry makes are second to none. Absolutely true works of art. I thought some of you rifle nuts might enjoy looking at this one. I think i have a new favorite. Enjoy. Lee

I really like those little Bat SV actions. The very best shooting bat i ever had was an SV. I wish i had kept that rifle. When you get yours all done post a pic or two. Lee

Lee, i don't call you the man for nothing brother because you are the man. Love the stuff you build because we have alot of the same taste. Beautiful rifle and i am sure your barrel work is first rate as your builds. You know Lee when i am ready to build a bench rifle here some day how bout i send the parts to you ::) Have fun with your new toy, its a work of art.

Thanks Dan, We dont lace up our boots every morning just so we can pay the power bill. We have to spend a little on ourselves. LOL!!

you will love that Borden action. Best one on the market in my opinion. I will have Jim make me a chrome moly action one of these times. It seems to me with BAT actions they are either Hit or Missssss!! Not all bat actions shoot like I think they should. Borden on the other hand will shoot. jim spends a lot of time on the details and thats what makes The difference. I have owned a lot of different actions as i love to buy, shoot, and sell rifles. Borden hands down is the best functioning i have owned to date. The timing on these actions is second to none, as is the extraction/ejection. Lock up is smooth and tight and there is zero drag in the firing pin assemblies. Most guys dont even think of things like this but jim does, and i do!! Having zero drag on the firing pin is huge! Trust that!! I sell a lot of nice rifles but i haven't old any of my Borden action rifles. I really like the Borden action. I like BAT to very much, and i wouldn't say anything negative about them other than there price. BAT has a feel that no other action has and there options for there actions is superior. I like chrome moly better than stainless for many reasons and bat will make you a chrome moly action pretty quick. Sometimes with a bat you have to spend a little extra money after you get the action to get the most out of the accuracy potential. i wont go into that here but it is a fact. I will also say that some BAT actions need nothing else. I have a couple that are fantastic, and they have had zero extra work. My statement replies to short range benches. I dont know much about long range bench rest so this may not apply. I have been told it doesn't.
Jim have terry glue your action in when your stock is done. He doesn't charge much and he does a great job. Make sure we get a peak at that rifle when its done. Lee

Sweet rig, Lee. Congratulations!

There are lots of really nice actions but there is something special about the BAT SV that I just love. My 30BR and 6PPC are both on SVs and they are special to me.

Thanks for all the pm's. to help answer a few questions without responding to every PM. Yes this is a LV rifle weighting at or less than 10.5 pounds. Yes terry can make this same set up in a 13.5 pound AKA a heavy varmint rifle. This stock grade is a step up grade as there is a standard grade of redwood. More of a straight grain. Hope that helps. thanks Lee
