Extreme spread and Standard Deviation program

After spending some time with the crono on Friday and looking over the numbers, I was wondering if there is a program available or another way to be able to compute "simulated" data. Perhaps I haven't read the directions well enough to find my own info.
I noticed that the first shot from several of my freshly cleaned rifles was noticably slower than what the rest of the string. Subsequent strings did not seem to have the one slow initial shot.
I would like to be able to enter data and "skew" the results to eliminate the first slow shot.
From now on, I think that first shot (from a clean gun) will be a freebie.

Reread your instructions. My CED M2 chronograph lets you delete or omit any bad shot from a string. Maybe yours will to.
If it wont, fire a few foulers first.

Any competent spreadsheet will do what you want. Attached is a fragment of my Excel reloading log that will illustrate how to reference chrono data and calculate ES/SD. Shout if you have any questions.

Ryan, I wish I had the ability to do what the CED sounds like it will do. Unfortunately my crono only has one switch and one toggle button and only records one string. Let you guess which one I have. Hint-its red.

Sleepygator, thanks for posting your spreadsheet. That was more data than I was going to start with. Pulled my head out today and found a base formula that is a basic statistical deviation plot. Finally realized what I was wanting to achieve. Doh, I AM dense.
The crono makes it to easy to just rely on it until you want to combine samples.

If your chrono won't handle it, Excel will.

Aim the first shot so that it does not go over the chronograph. Stick to real data.
