Nice! Guess we all love launching rodents. About the most fun you can have with a rifle.

Thought I missed this guy. Range was only 226 yards, him just peeking over the lava rock showing only his eyes and nose. Put the crosshairs on his nose and touched the trigger. Lost him in the mild recoil of my 221FB, but upon close inspection of the rock outcropping a bit later, there he was, in great need of dental reconstructive surgery.



Flying rodents....love it!

Right you are.
As soon as this Pacific storm series blows through and we get some sunshine, I'm headed back out to that place with my Cooper Phoenix 221FB to have my way with them again. I've given this local chuck community a two year pass to let them build up somewhat, so anxious to see how they've been doing in terms of "new family members".

I take my Phoenix out there instead of my nice wooden stocked Coopers, as skulking about in lava rock can be brutal to a nice Claro stock.
