So I have been hearing bits and pieces about this new primer manufacturing company out of TX. Have any of you had a opportunity to try these or seen any available?
Rumor is they were bought out already?

Southern Defense says they are testing some primers from Expansion Industries.
I think Southern Defense was one of the distributors that invested with Expansion for primer production.

Boxes say OEM primers. I suspect they sell to ammo manufacturers mainly. If and when they out produce the OEM needs some may hit the individual market.

FYI. I just checked with one of people who invested with Expansion to bring up the primer production.
They confirmed there has been a buy out.

They got in over their heads and needed capital to continue.

And, they had something worth buying/investing in.

For some/many start up companies their 'exit strategy' is to develop a product or service far enough that a larger company or investment company would buy them out. It is fairly common among technology start ups.

Of course, their hope is that they'll get a good chunk of cash along with some stock in the company/product they started.

They have made some. They are being tested.

Still, they will encounter issues as they ramp up production.

I'm guessing that the previous management would stay on because they are knowledgeable about the factory operations.
